Data Engineer

• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to support analytics use cases
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and system issues
• Implement security and compliance best practices for data handling

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering or similar role
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on experience with big data tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of data warehousing tools like Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of data lake, lakehouse, and modern data stack concepts
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
