Data Engineer

• Optimize performance of data processing and storage systems
• Implement batch and real-time data processing workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data-driven solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline and data-related issues
• Document data models, pipelines, and workflows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3–8 years of experience in data engineering or similar role
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with ETL tools and frameworks
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop)
• Understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery
• Knowledge of streaming platforms (Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis)
• Experience with orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Prefect)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Understanding of data governance and security frameworks
• Cloud or data engineering certifications
