Data Engineer

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems
• Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers
• Optimize SQL queries and data processing performance
• Implement real-time and batch data processing solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues
• Support data governance, security, and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or Java/Scala)
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, or Airflow
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks
• Experience with data lake architectures (Delta Lake, Iceberg)
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Understanding of CI/CD for data pipelines
• Exposure to BI tools like Tableau or Power BI
