Data Engineer

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
12+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role. 8+ years of data analysis.
Preferably in the Healthcare industry of enrollment, medical claims and/or pharmacy claims.
10+ years hands-on work in SQL and/or PL/SQL.
Familiarity with designing, implementing, and optimizing data models in NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, neo4j) to support high‑volume, low‑latency workloads.
Working knowledge of big data/cloud technologies (Databricks, AWS, Azure, Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake etc.) is preferred.
Flexible work schedule.
Experience with project management tools like JIRA.
Strong understanding of agile development practices, preferably SAFe.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills.
