Data Engineer

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues.
• Mentor junior data engineers and promote best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, Luigi).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
• Strong experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Data Factory, Google BigQuery).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
• Familiarity with data lake and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with orchestration and workflow tools.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
• Certifications in cloud or data engineering.
