Data Engineer

• Implement data integration solutions from multiple sources (APIs, databases, streams)
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues
• Optimize queries and storage for performance and cost efficiency
• Maintain documentation for data flows and systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with SQL and database design
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tools like Apache Airflow, Kafka, or dbt
• Knowledge of data lakes (S3, Azure Data Lake) and warehouse solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Familiarity with real-time data processing and streaming
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices
• Certifications in cloud or data engineering
