Data Engineer

• Build data ingestion pipelines from APIs, files, and streaming platforms.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and governance standards.
• Optimize performance and cost of data pipelines and storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend development.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time data streaming (e.g., Apache Kafka).
• Knowledge of data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling).
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
