Data Architect

• Evaluate and select tools, technologies, and platforms
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost of data systems
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles
• Strong expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical)
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala
• Hands-on experience with distributed data systems (e.g., Apache Spark)
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and architectures
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern data platforms:
  • Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery
• Familiarity with:
  • Data orchestration tools (Apache Airflow)
  • Streaming technologies (Apache Kafka, Flink)
• Experience with lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Iceberg)
• Knowledge of master data management (MDM) and data catalog tools
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
