Data Architect

🌟 Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Design end-to-end Azure data lake / lakehouse architectures (batch & streaming)
✔️ Define data models and curated datasets for analytics & AI/ML
✔️ Enable AI/ML workflows including feature engineering & MLOps integration
✔️ Establish data governance, security, lineage & compliance frameworks
✔️ Create architecture artifacts (diagrams, reference patterns, ADRs)
✔️ Guide engineering teams with best practices & design reviews
✔️ Optimize performance, scalability, reliability & cost

🔹 ADLS Gen2
🔹 Azure Databricks / Apache Spark
🔹 Azure Data Factory (ADF)
🔹 Azure Synapse / Azure SQL / Databricks SQL
🔹 Event Hubs / Kafka (preferred)
🔹 Microsoft Purview / Unity Catalog (preferred)
🔹 Azure AD, RBAC, Managed Identity, Key Vault
🔹 CI/CD (Azure DevOps / GitHub), Terraform/Bicep

✅ Required Skills:
✔️ 5+ years in Data Engineering / Data Architecture
✔️ 2+ years hands-on with Azure data services
✔️ Strong data modeling & lakehouse architecture knowledge
✔️ Experience with secure & governed enterprise data platforms
✔️ Proficiency in SQL & Python
✔️ Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
