Role: DAA Telemetry Engineer / Developer

Location: Denver, CO (Onsite/Hybrid depending on client)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Engineer with experience in Distributed Application Architecture (DAA) to design, implement, and manage telemetry systems. The role focuses on monitoring, observability, and performance optimization of distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement telemetry pipelines (logs, metrics, traces) for distributed systems
• Build and maintain observability frameworks using modern tools
• Integrate telemetry with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time
• Work with engineering teams to improve system reliability and scalability
• Develop dashboards and alerts for proactive monitoring
• Ensure best practices in logging, tracing, and metrics collection

Required Skills

• Strong experience with telemetry/observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Datadog)
• Solid understanding of Distributed Systems / DAA concepts
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
