Position Summary:
The Cybersecurity Specialist leads the assessment of security posture, identifying risks,
compliance gaps, and control weaknesses affecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability
of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

 Evaluate SRBC cybersecurity controls across:
o Identity and access management
o Network security monitoring
o Incident response readiness
o Vulnerability management
 Assess firewall governance and perimeter defense architecture.
 Review compliance alignment with applicable federal/state cybersecurity
requirements.
 Evaluate endpoint protection, privileged access controls, and security awareness
maturity.
 Identify cybersecurity risk exposures affecting systems and public-facing services.
 Develop prioritized recommendations to strengthen risk mitigation posture.
Required Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or
related field.
 Minimum 7 years of cybersecurity assessment experience.
 Experience supporting government, regulated public-sector, or quasi-government
entities.
Preferred Certifications:
 CISSP
 CISM
