Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security (0–1 year for entry-level roles)
• Basic understanding of:
  • Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls)
  • Operating systems (Windows, Linux)
  • Security principles (CIA triad, least privilege)
• Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus)
• Knowledge of common threats (phishing, malware, ransomware)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
  • CISSP (for senior roles)
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001
• Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
