Cyber Security Engineer

• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
• Implement identity and access management (IAM) solutions
• Secure cloud environments and on-premise systems
• Perform risk assessments and threat modeling
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system design
• Maintain security documentation and compliance reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
• Strong knowledge of network security principles and protocols
• Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls)
• Familiarity with operating systems (Linux, Windows)
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
• Experience with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Understanding of encryption and authentication mechanisms

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
• Experience with endpoint security and zero trust architecture
• Background in incident response or digital forensics
