Cloud Data Engineer

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems
• Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and cloud infrastructure
• Implement automation for data ingestion and processing
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark
• Knowledge of ETL tools and data pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Glue, etc.)
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Knowledge of streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub)
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
• Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
