Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst with banking/finance domain experience to support financial analysis, regulatory reporting, and data-driven decision-making across Finance, Risk, and Treasury teams. The role requires strong collaboration between business stakeholders and technology teams to improve financial systems and reporting.
Required Skills
2–5 years experience as a Business Analyst or Financial Analyst
Banking or financial services domain experience
Strong understanding of:
Loans
Deposits
Treasury operations
GL accounting
Financial controls
Experience with Excel and BI tools:
Power BI
Tableau
Qlik
Experience with core banking or financial systems
Strong data analysis and reporting skills
Key Responsibilities
Perform financial analysis for banking products (loans, deposits, credit portfolios).
Support regulatory reporting such as Call Reports, CCAR, Basel III metrics.
Develop and maintain financial reporting dashboards using BI tools.
Write and refine SQL queries for financial data analysis and reconciliation.
Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Treasury, and IT teams.
Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems.
Preferred Skills
SQL or data analytics experience
Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, CECL, FFIEC, ALM
Experience with data governance and financial data modeling
Experience with core banking platforms (FIS, Temenos, etc.)
