Backend Java Developer

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5–8 years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11)
• Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Knowledge of build tools such as Gradle
• Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code tools
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills
• Experience with Backbase API
• Exposure to banking/fintech domain
• Knowledge of application containerization and modernization strategies
