Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Senior Data Lead to drive enterprise-scale data initiatives on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will lead architecture, design, and implementation of modern data platforms, ensuring scalability, governance, and performance across analytics and operational workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Azure-based data platforms and solutions.
• Architect and oversee data ingestion, transformation, and storage using services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
• Develop scalable data lake and warehouse solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Define data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Lead a team of data engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data workflows.
• Optimize performance and cost management within Azure environments.
• Ensure best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and metadata management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services.
• Strong experience in data warehousing, big data, and cloud architecture.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, and Spark.
• Experience with data governance and security frameworks.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
