Job Title: Azure Data Engineer – Capital Markets
Position: Hybrid (Twice a Week)

Location: Charlotte, NC 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Python, and SQL to support Capital Markets data initiatives. The ideal candidate will work with large-scale financial datasets, build robust ETL pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.

This role requires strong knowledge of Fixed Income products, market data flows, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks.

Work with Delta Share, Kafka, and Databricks reporting components.

Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Python and SQL.

Manage and integrate data from multiple sources including Azure Blob Storage and Azure Key Vault.

Schedule and monitor workflows using Autosys/JIL.

Perform data analysis and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Collaborate with stakeholders including engineers, analysts, and vendors.

Support data integration and file transfer processes including SFTP.

Ensure secure handling of financial market data.

Required Technical Skills

Strong experience with Azure Databricks (Delta Share, Report Writing, Kafka integration)

Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Strong programming skills in Python

Strong knowledge of SQL and data analysis

Experience with Autosys / JIL scheduling

Knowledge of Azure Blob Storage and Azure Key Vault

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with Redline Trading Solutions or ION platform

Knowledge of FIX Protocol messages

Experience with SFTP / file transfer processes

Exposure to Power BI

Domain Experience (Preferred)

Understanding of Capital Markets

Knowledge of Fixed Income products

Familiarity with:

US Treasuries

Futures market data

Market liquidity order data flows
