Azure Architect

Role Objective

As an Azure Solutions Architect, you will serve as the primary technical strategist for our cloud initiatives. You will design, develop, and oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures. You will partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical blueprints and lead engineering teams through the full cloud adoption lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design: Create end-to-end solution architectures (high-level and low-level) using the Azure Well-Architected Framework, focusing on reliability, security, and cost optimization.

Cloud Strategy: Develop and maintain the organization’s cloud roadmap, including migration strategies (Rehost, Refactor, Rearchitect) and hybrid-cloud integration.

Governance & Security: Implement Zero Trust principles, Azure Policy, and RBAC to ensure compliance. Design identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Standardize deployments using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to ensure consistent, repeatable environments.

FinOps & Cost Management: Monitor cloud spend and implement cost-saving measures like Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and automated resource scaling.

Collaboration: Act as a bridge between C-suite stakeholders and technical teams (DevOps, Security, and Data Engineers) to ensure alignment on project deliverables.
