AWS / Kubernetes Engineer

• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using observability tools
• Ensure security best practices across cloud environments (IAM, VPC, encryption)
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Optimize cloud cost, performance, and resource utilization
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, EKS)
• Expertise in Kubernetes (cluster setup, deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or Shell)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator)
• Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch)
• Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
• Understanding of security frameworks and DevSecOps practices
