Role: AWS Data Engineer (10+ Years)

Location: Los Angeles (Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS data services and strong experience handling large-scale data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data
• Work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems
• Optimize performance and cost of AWS data infrastructure
• Implement data security and compliance best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering / data development
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena)
• Expertise in Python / PySpark / SQL
• Experience with data warehousing and big data technologies
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and frameworks
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
