Job Title: AWS Data Engineer (10+ Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud-based data engineering, ETL pipelines, and big data technologies, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using AWS services
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data processing
• Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
• Develop and maintain data lakes and data warehouses
• Optimize performance and scalability of data workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline issues
• Automate workflows using orchestration tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR
• Expertise in Python and SQL
• Experience with Apache Spark / PySpark
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipeline architecture
• Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow or similar)
• Experience with version control tools (Git)
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices
