Job Overview:
we are building scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms. We are looking for an
experienced AWS Architect who will own cloud architecture, drive best practices, and work closely
with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to design reliable and cost-efficient solutions.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys both thinking big and building deep.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and own end-to-end AWS architecture for Shework platforms and products.
* Define cloud standards, patterns, and best practices across teams.
* Lead architecture decisions around scalability, security, availability, and performance.
* Drive native cloud app development, cloud migration, optimization, and
modernization initiatives.
* Partner with Engineering, DevOps, and Security to ensure clean, compliant, and efficient
designs.
* Review designs, mentor engineers, and raise the bar on cloud maturity.
* Proficient with creating/managing AWS infrastructure at scale
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
* 10+ years in IT with strong hands-on AWS architecture experience.
* Deep knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Load Balancing, Auto Scaling,
CloudWatch, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.).
* Strong understanding of networking, security, and high-availability design.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform ).
* Exposure to containers (EKS/ECS) and modern DevOps practices.
* AWS well architected security framework
Good to Have
* Multi-account AWS strategy experience
* Serverless architecture exposure
* Cost optimization and governance experience
* Startup or high-growth environment experience
