Automation Engineer

• 7+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on modern UI and API automation.

• Expert-level hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.

• Solid, practical experience with Cypress.

• Proven experience in API automation (Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing or similar).

• Strong understanding of Git, GitHub workflows, and version control best practices.

• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

• Strong knowledge of automation architecture, design patterns, and framework scalability.

• Demonstrated experience leading automation efforts and influencing QA strategy.

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and lead by example.

• Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants in test automation workflows.

• Understanding of AI/ML concepts in software testing or proven experience adopting AI-driven QA solutions.
