Location: Carmel, IN – 46032 (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Bill Rate: $50-$52/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer with strong expertise in IBM iSeries platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting legacy applications, along with exposure to modernization and integration with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, maintain, and support applications on IBM i (AS/400) platform
Work with RPG (RPGLE/ILE), CL, and DB2/400 technologies
Perform application enhancements, bug fixes, and production support
Support legacy system modernization and integration initiatives
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and system defects
Collaborate with business and technical teams for requirement analysis
Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and system stability
Required Skills:
10+ years of experience as AS400 / IBM iSeries Developer
Strong hands-on experience in:
RPG (RPGLE / ILE)
CL Programming
DB2/400
Experience in application development + production support
Strong understanding of IBM i (AS/400) architecture
Experience in system integration and legacy modernization
Nice to Have:
Experience with Mapics
Exposure to enterprise system integrations
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Pre-Screening Checklist:
