Location: Dallas (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite per Week)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer with Synon (CA 2E) expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications on the IBM i (AS400) platform, with a strong focus on Synon-based development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications on AS400 (IBM i) platform
• Work extensively with Synon (CA 2E) for application development
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
• Support production issues and provide timely resolutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
• Optimize existing systems for performance and scalability

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in AS400 / IBM i development
• Hands-on experience with Synon (CA 2E)
• Proficiency in RPG (RPG III / RPG IV / RPGLE) and CL programming
• Experience with DB2/400 database
• Knowledge of SQL, Query/400
• Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
