Job Title: Application Developer (.NET / SQL Server)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
 

Job Description:

We are seeking a strong Application Developer with solid experience in C# .NET and SQL Server development to support application development initiatives within a financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with .NET Core, relational databases, and backend application development. Experience with Python and financial regulatory systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# .NET / .NET Core.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Work closely with business and technology teams to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Support integration of applications with internal systems and external data sources.
• Contribute to application architecture, development standards, and best practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core development
• Solid expertise in SQL Server and relational database design
• Experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and application design patterns
• Experience working in enterprise application development environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Python
• Background in Financial Services
• Knowledge of Risk Management or Regulatory Reporting systems
• Experience with API development and system integrations
