🔹 Position Overview:
The Adabas Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications and databases. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, resolve issues, and support application modernization initiatives.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and the ability to participate in production support and on-call rotations.

Required Skills:

✅ 10+ years of experience with Natural/Adabas and SQL Development
✅ Strong experience developing complex multi-tier applications using Natural/Adabas
✅ Advanced experience gathering requirements and working with business stakeholders
✅ Strong SQL development skills and database experience
✅ Experience with State Department of Human Services Systems (7+ years preferred)
✅ Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including:

System Design
Analysis
Coding
QA Testing
Implementation
Application Maintenance

✅ Experience with Linux/Unix environments
✅ Experience with SCL in Linux environments
✅ Ability to analyze issues, define solutions, and improve application processes

Preferred Skills:

⭐ Microsoft SQL Server experience
⭐ Strong Linux/Unix operating system knowledge
⭐ Agile methodology experience (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP, or similar)
⭐ Experience supporting enterprise-level government applications
