We are looking for an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant with strong expertise in US Payroll to support payroll implementation, configuration, and ongoing operations within Workday. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of US payroll processes, compliance, and hands-on Workday Payroll experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support Workday Payroll (US) implementations and enhancements.
Manage end-to-end US Payroll processing, including multi-state payroll.
Configure earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits, garnishments, and retro payroll in Workday.
Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Conduct payroll testing, parallel runs, validation, and go-live support.
Troubleshoot payroll issues and provide post-production support.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and third-party vendors.
Prepare payroll reports, audits, and reconciliations.
Support Workday upgrades, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of overall payroll experience with strong Workday Payroll (US) exposure.
Extensive experience in US Payroll, including multi-state payroll.
Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience in Workday Payroll configuration and testing.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
