Job Description
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Graphic Design, or other related field. Or equivalentwork experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of combined IT and graphic design experience. Able to understand HTML and have a strongworking knowledge of Web generators and photographic libraries.
- Possesses a portfolio of websites or solutions.
- Experience in human factors engineering, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing for Web and client-basedapplications, as well as metrics setting and monitoring for assessing the usability of the Web application.
- Experience improving the usability, usefulness, and desirability of Web sites in collaboration with Graphic Designers,Product Managers, Engineering Staff, and other Web Designers.
- Experience performing usability tests, providing design prototypes, and providing ad hoc user interface consulting.Experience in requirements gathering and articulation of user interface issues – including development of page/siteprototypes.
- Experience in user-centered design methodology, user scenarios, usability testing, storyboarding, paper, andinteractive prototypes.
- Experience in integrating design into program rules and system architecture, and creating innovative approaches toimproving the end-user experience.
- Experience in graphic applications, HTML development tools, and other applicable authoring tools, Web production,and front-end development using programming and scripting languages.
- Experience in platform/browser compatibility and basic usability issues.
- Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
