Sr. Network Security Engineer (Zscaler SME)

Role Overview:

Seeking a Zscaler Subject Matter Expert to support enterprise security initiatives, focusing on secure access, cloud security architecture, and Zero Trust implementations. This role will be hands-on and client-facing, supporting both operations and strategic enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
• Support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) initiatives
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity and security issues
• Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams
• Participate in onboarding, migrations, and optimization efforts
• Provide SME guidance for best practices and future roadmap

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Zscaler (ZIA & ZPA mandatory)
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
• Experience with enterprise security architectures
• Ability to work onsite and engage with stakeholders
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Zscaler certifications
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
• Exposure to Zero Trust or SASE frameworks
