C/C++ for systems-level programming.

This role focuses on analyzing mainframe code and migrating applications to modern environments. 

Key Responsibilities 

 Analyze legacy COBOL codebases to identify business logic, dependencies, and performance issues. ​  

 Migrate COBOL applications to 32-bit architectures, ensuring compatibility and optimization. ​ 

 Develop and integrate C/C++ modules for enhanced functionality in cross-platform setups. ​ 

 Debug, test, and document code changes across development cycles.  

Required Qualifications 5+ years in COBOL development, including code analysis and refactoring. ​ 

 Proven experience migrating mainframe apps to 32-bit systems (e.g., from z/OS). ​  

Strong proficiency in C/C++ for systems-level programming. ​ 

 Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments for deployment and testing.  

Preferred Skills: Knowledge of CICS for transaction processing and web services exposure.  

Experience with tools like DB2, JCL, ENDEVOR, or VSAM as a plus. ​  

Agile methodologies and mainframe modernization (z/OS to open systems). ​
