Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Snowflake Developer to support data engineering and analytics initiatives for a leading financial services client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and modern data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load data into Snowflake
• Develop and manage schemas, tables, views, and stages
• Work with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, etc.)
• Write and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability
• Integrate Snowflake with upstream/downstream systems
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards

• Support production issues and performance tuning

   

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse
• Advanced SQL skills
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, Matillion, dbt, or similar)
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP – preferred)

• Experience with version control tools like Git

   

Experience

• 6+ years of overall IT experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience with Snowflake
