Senior Systems Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Analyst / Engineer (SME level) to lead platform requirements and system architecture for next-generation Smart TV platforms. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working across OS, middleware, firmware, applications, and hardware vendors to deliver high-performance consumer devices.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
✅ Own and author platform engineering requirements and system specifications
✅ Design and integrate embedded software (kernel, drivers, middleware) with SoC vendors such as Broadcom, Amlogic, and MediaTek
✅ Define HALs, APIs/ABIs, IPC boundaries, and interface contracts
✅ Drive system-level performance optimization (boot time, memory, power, responsiveness)
✅ Define multimedia and streaming requirements (FFmpeg, GStreamer, OpenGL ES)
✅ Establish OTA update, rollback, gating, and fleet segmentation policies
✅ Define app lifecycle rules for native and HTML5/WebView applications
✅ Partner with Product, OS/FW, Middleware, App, QA, and ODM teams
🔹 Required Skills & Experience
✔ 7+ years in embedded systems / platform engineering for consumer devices
✔ Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux and/or Android TV (AOSP)
✔ Experience with system services, IPC, HALs, and middleware
✔ Strong C/C++ fundamentals (memory, concurrency, system design)
✔ Familiarity with hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO)
✔ Experience with Git, CI/CD, Jira, and Confluence
✔ Excellent communication and documentation skills
🔹 Preferred Experience
⭐ Android TV (AOSP), webOS, Tizen, or Roku OS
⭐ Yocto / Buildroot exposure
⭐ BSP or device driver familiarity
⭐ Graphics & composition (OpenGL ES / Vulkan)
⭐ Factory testing, telemetry, or fleet health monitoring
