We have an urgent requirement for Senior Systems Administrator position with our client.

Role: Senior Systems Administrator

Client: Sligo Software Solutions - Florida Department of Transportation

Total experience 12+ years

Local candidates highly preferred.

Prior govt client exp,  nice to have.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or technical institute degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields. Or equivalent work experience.

Experience

2 – 3 years’ experience with: Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022.

2 – 3 years IIS Administration.

2 – 3 years of network communications, including TCP/IP and DNS Samba/CIFS file sharing and NTFS permissions.

2 – 3 years of strong professional experience in AWS cloud systems is required.

2 – 3 years of strong professional experience in Microsoft Azure cloud systems is highly desired.

2 – 3 years of experience with other cloud providers, such as GCP, is highly desired.

2 – 3 years of professional experience in the administration of Microsoft software is highly desired.

3 – 5 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in systems operations, support, maintenance, and administration.

3 – 5 years of professional experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services are highly desired.

5 – 8 years of professional experience in information systems engineering or a related field is required.

14. Strong grasp of Linux administration, including Linux patching.

16. Skill in strategic planning.

17. Skill in researching, compiling, and analyzing data to report findings and develop improvement solutions.

18. Skill in system administration and hosting across a wide range of solutions.

19. Ability to research, identify, and implement innovative solutions.
