Senior Storage Engineer

Skills Required: 
The Sr. Backup Storage Engineer will possess in-depth understanding, knowledge and experience of CommVault Complete Data Protection; VMware data protection and recovery using VADP (VMware vStorage API for Data Protection); be proficient in configuring storage arrays with business continuity solutions; perform upgrades; execute storage migration and data center consolidation projects; and administer Pure Storage solutions, including both hardware and software components. The Sr. Backup Storage Engineer will have a comprehensive understanding of IBM storage systems, including configuration and management; be skilled in managing Dell storage systems, with capabilities in setup, troubleshooting, and optimization; ability in NetApp storage solutions, such as ONTAP, SnapMirror, and SnapVault; scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python, for automating storage management tasks and workflows; proficiency with UNIX systems (including IBM AIX, Linux, and HP-UX) and TCP/IP, along with administering networking hardware; and the ability to design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable cloud solutions across various platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and IBM Cloud. They will possess strong oral and written communication skills, effective time management, attention to detail, and the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
