We are seeking a hands-on Sr Python Developer with deep AWS experience for a hybrid role in McLean, VA (LOCALS ONLY) . Ideal candidates will have a background at Capital One and strong Data Engineering skills.

Must-Have Technical Skills:
Languages & Frameworks: Python, J2EE, Spring Boot (Microservices)
Data Engineering: PySpark, Databricks, Snowflake/OneLake
AWS Expertise: Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, Docker (Containerized Deployments)
Database: DynamoDB (Required)
Streaming/Monitoring: Kafka, New Relic (Required), Splunk
DevOps: CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab), Maven, Git, Linux Shell Scripting

Responsibilities:
Architect, design, and deploy cloud-native applications.
Build & integrate REST APIs and back-end microservices.
Perform reverse engineering and re-platforming of existing applications.
Develop large-scale data pipelines and transformations (PySpark).
Troubleshoot complex distributed issues in production.
Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) and participate in code reviews.
Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software.
