Senior .NET Developer – Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will lead development efforts, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
• Develop front-end components using Angular / React / Blazor (if applicable)
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient C# code
• Work with SQL Server and optimize database performance (stored procedures, indexing, queries)
• Implement authentication and authorization (OAuth, JWT, Azure AD)
• Lead code reviews and enforce best practices
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in .NET development
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core
• Experience with Web API, RESTful Services
• Strong experience with SQL Server
• Experience with Entity Framework / Dapper
• Hands-on experience with Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Storage)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (preferred)
• Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest)
