Senior / Lead QA Automation Engineer With Payment

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET with over 10 years of expertise in software quality assurance, automation, and testing within the payments industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing automation frameworks, manual testing, and possess deep knowledge of payment systems, security protocols, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks and scripts for payment applications.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and strategies to ensure the quality and performance of payment systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to define testing requirements.
Automate regression, functional, integration, and performance tests to enable continuous testing processes.
Conduct manual testing when required to validate complex payment workflows and edge cases.
Identify, document, and track defects and ensure timely resolution.
Ensure adherence to security standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to payment processing.
Mentor and guide junior QA team members and promote best practices in automation and testing.
Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in QA automation and payments technology.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in QA/testing with a focus on automation.
Extensive experience in SDET roles, with strong coding skills in Java, Python, or similar languages.
In-depth knowledge of payment gateways, card schemes, PCI DSS compliance, and secure payment processing.
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, RestAssured, or similar.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of API testing, web services, and microservices architecture.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
