* Strong background in *financial or banking systems* (highly preferred)
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to participate in *architecture reviews* and technical decision-making
* Experience working closely with *platform, security, SRE, and product teams*
🛠 *Must-Have Skills:*
* *8+ years Java* experience building production-grade services
* *8+ years REST API development* including API security
* High-throughput, low-latency *Java-based APIs*
* Cloud-native deployment on *GCP or equivalent public cloud*
* *Access management (2+ years):* OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML
* Distributed systems, concurrency, performance optimization, resiliency patterns
* Mission-critical systems with strict *SLAs* (latency, availability, error budgets)
* Observability & production troubleshooting (metrics, logs, traces)
* *CI/CD pipelines* and automated build/test/deploy
* Containers & modern deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, feature flags)
* Production support, incident response, RCA, reliability improvements
⭐ *Preferred / Nice to Have:*
* AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, agentic mode)
* Experience in *security-sensitive environments*
* Capacity planning and monitoring/alerting ownership
