Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong AWS expertise to support enterprise application development for ASCAP. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Java microservices, cloud-native development, and modern DevOps tools, along with excellent communication skills.


Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java 8–based microservices
Build and enhance applications using Spring Core and Spring Boot
Work with SQL databases for data persistence and optimization
Develop and deploy applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
Use Git, Jenkins, and Docker for CI/CD and containerization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid onsite environment
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning


Required Qualifications
13+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
Strong experience with Java 8 and microservices architecture
Solid expertise in Spring Core, Spring Boot
Strong experience with SQL databases
Must have strong AWS experience
Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, and Docker
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to attend 3 days onsite per week in NYC
