If you have a strong background in security governance, policy enforcement, and vendor risk, and you hold an active CISSP, we want to talk to you.

The Mission
You will act as the primary owner of the SOC relationship, ensuring compliance with SLAs/KPIs while driving accountability across internal and external partners. You will evaluate suppliers against confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) standards and lead remediation efforts when gaps are identified.

Key Responsibilities
Governance & SOC Oversight
Serve as the primary liaison with the Security Operations Center (SOC).
Monitor service delivery against SLAs/KPIs; identify gaps and escalate deficiencies.
Proactively communicate risks and collaborate on remediation plans to maintain operational integrity.

Vendor & Risk Management
Partner with business units to ensure security standards are embedded in all vendor projects.
Evaluate new/existing suppliers for compliance with security requirements.
Work cross-functionally with Risk and Vendor Management teams to close control gaps.

Security Advisory & Analysis
Act as a trusted information security advisor to business and IT partners.
Analyze emerging technologies and frameworks for security gaps; implement corrective controls.
Translate complex risk findings into clear, actionable language for stakeholders.

Policy & Compliance
Develop, maintain, and communicate enterprise security policies.
Ensure vulnerability scans and assessments are conducted in line with policy; track findings to closure.
Maintain IT contingency plans based on system criticality.

Reporting & Governance
Prepare vulnerability and security governance reports, including materials for the Board of Trustees.
Serve as a security advocate for assigned lines of business.

Qualifications & Must-Haves
Degree in Computer Science, InfoSec, or equivalent experience.

6+ years of Information Security experience.

Active CISSP (Required).
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and enforce compliance.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage competing priorities.
