Senior Data & AI Engineer

Minimum of 15+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and software development

6+ years hands-on experience and advanced-level expertise in Snowflake data warehousing and data platform management.

4+ years hands-on experience and advanced-level expertise in AWS cloud services and data-related technologies.

Proficiency in reporting and BI tools such as Sigma or Omni.

Experience with programming languages like Python and SQL.

Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and AWS technologies. Design and implement efficient database models, schemas and structures.

Platform Administration: Administer and manage the Snowflake environment, including performance tuning, cost optimization, user access control, user onboarding/offboarding, and workload management to ensure optimal performance and security.

AI Solution Development: Design, build and implement modern AI solutions (both in-house and third-party), integrated with Snowflake Cortex, Amazon Bedrock and other AI/ML models.

Reporting Tools Management: Manage and support reporting and business intelligence (BI) tools and platforms. Configure custom reports.

User Support and Training: Provide expert support to end-users on reporting tools, data accessibility, and data best practices, empowering them to extract insights and make data-driven decisions.

Data Governance & Compliance: Implement data governance, security protocols, encryption techniques, and access control policies in compliance with banking industry regulations.
