Senior Cloud Engineer

Role : Senior Cloud Engineer with AWS , Glue
Location : San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 3 days a week)

Core Responsibilities: Set up and manage AWS infrastructure components such as EC2, S3 buckets, Glue jobs, databases, load balancers, and networking. 
Security: Understanding of AWS security, including IAM roles and permissions management. 
Infrastructure as Code: Proficient in writing and deploying Terraform modules for AWS resources. 
Collaboration: Work closely with specialized networking and firewall teams; ability to identify when to involve these teams. 
Problem Solving & Ownership: Take ownership of tasks, break down requirements, estimate timelines, and provide solutions. Must be able to articulate technical concepts to non-experts and guide data engineering teams. 
Glue/Redshift Knowledge: Required to set up and troubleshoot infrastructure for AWS Glue and Redshift, but not to develop jobs or write queries. 
Communication: Strong communication and coordination skills, especially when liaising with external teams and supporting data engineers.
Seniority: Must demonstrate initiative, problem-solving, and the ability to guide others
