Senior Cloud Engineer

• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement GitOps and DevSecOps best practices.
• Optimize build, release, and deployment pipelines.

Security & Compliance

• Implement cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, network segmentation).
• Conduct security reviews and vulnerability remediation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc., as applicable).

Monitoring & Optimization

• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, etc.).
• Optimize cloud cost management and resource utilization.
• Perform performance tuning and incident response.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with application teams to migrate workloads to the cloud.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6–10+ years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system design principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Experience in highly regulated industries.
