• 11 years of IT experience with at least 4 years specializing in AWS architecture or cloud engineering Strong knowledge of core AWS services EC2 VPC Lambda ECS EKS RDS Aurora S3 KMS CloudWatch IAM CloudTrail Hands on experience designing and implementing AWS solutions using enterprise patterns Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform CloudFormation GitHub CICD pipelines Deep understanding of cloud security concepts and enterprise governance models Experience in hybrid cloud or multi account AWS environments AWS certification Solutions Architect Professional strongly preferred
• Architectural Design Duties cloud solutions using Delta approved AWS architecture patterns including Standardized VPC patterns Delta Cloud Landing Zone CLZ Aligned network and security topologies Serverless and container reference architectures Approved data platform integration patterns using S3 Lambda Glue Redshift API Gateway Enterprise IAM and cross account access patterns Create high level and detailed solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards and cloud governance

Responsibilities
 

• The Senior Cloud Architect performs technical planning architecture development and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments Develops specifications for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings Assesses the compatibility and integration of new products and applications into existing environments Works closely with enterprise architecture teams and cloud platform teams to evaluate proposed IT changes impacts across departments Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for proposed solutions Performs technical and administrative oversight of assigned IT initiatives
