SDET QA Engineer

• Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure testability
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive defect resolution
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the SDLC

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of QA experience, with 3+ years as an SDET or Automation Engineer
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as:
  • Selenium, Cypress, Playwright
  • TestNG, JUnit, PyTest
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Experience with API and backend testing
• Familiarity with SQL and database testing
