Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Location: Remote - Local to Minnesota preferred, not required

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in:

• Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Process – Priority Skill
• VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) – Priority Skill
• SAP ECC & SAP S/4HANA Finance

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in full-cycle implementations, production support, financial reporting, and cross-module integrations. Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP FI & CO modules
• Work extensively on P2P cycle integration (MM–FI integration)
• Configure and support VIM invoice processing, approvals, and workflow automation
• Configure FI-GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, CO-PA, and Cost Center Accounting
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Configure Automatic Payment Programs and Dunning procedures
• Prepare functional specifications and support integration testing
• Provide L2/L3 production support and resolve incidents within SLA
• Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO (ECC & S/4HANA)
• Deep knowledge of P2P cycle and Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)
• Integration experience with SAP MM, SD, PP, and PS
• Experience with IDOC, BAPI, and LSMW
• Reporting expertise using SAP Query, Report Painter, BI/BO, and FIORI
• Experience working in Agile / SAP Activate methodology
