Salesforce QA Functional Tester

Role: Salesforce QA Functional Tester

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce QA Functional Analyst with expertise in Salesforce Platform Core Development, Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, and Salesforce AgentForce.
The successful candidate will be responsible for validating the functionality, performance, and reliability of Salesforce implementations by working closely with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business analysts and Salesforce developers to understand:
Functional requirements
User stories
Acceptance criteria related to Salesforce Core Development, Energy Utilities Cloud, and AgentForce
Develop comprehensive:
Test plans
Test cases
Test scripts based on business requirements and use cases
Execute:
Functional testing
Regression testing
Integration testing
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Validate Salesforce solutions within the Energy Utilities Cloud environment
Verify:
Workflows
Automations
Customizations
Integrations related to Salesforce AgentForce
Identify, log, and track defects in coordination with development teams
Verify defect fixes through retesting
Participate actively in:
Sprint planning
Backlog grooming
Review meetings to provide quality feedback
Ensure Salesforce solutions meet compliance and security standards relevant to the Energy & Utilities industry
Work with performance and automation teams to support broader testing initiatives
Document test results and provide:
Detailed test coverage reports
Risk and issue communication
Stay updated with:
Salesforce platform releases
Energy Utilities Cloud updates
AgentForce enhancements
Recommend continuous process improvements to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce Platform Core Development, including:
Apex (conceptual understanding)
Lightning Components
Salesforce Data Model
Strong knowledge of Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud functionalities and industry-specific processes
Familiarity with Salesforce AgentForce, including automation and agent management features
Proven experience in functional testing of Salesforce solutions
Ability to create and execute detailed test cases
Basic understanding of:
Salesforce integrations
APIs
Experience with defect and test management tools such as:
JIRA
Zephyr
TestRail
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in sprint ceremonies
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards in the Energy & Utilities domain (plus)
