Responsibilities:

Review business requirements and functional/technical design specifications to ensure comprehensive understanding of deliverables.
Develop clear, concise, and detail-oriented test plans and cases; identify ambiguous or conflicting requirements and enhance user stories with acceptance criteria when necessary.
Introduce and optimize automated testing solutions.
Conduct manual API testing to validate software functionality, data integrity, transformations, as well as performance, reliability, stability, and system compatibility.
Ensure validated deliverables meet all functional, technical, and design specifications and requirements.
Isolate, replicate, analyze, and report defects, and verify defect resolutions.
Communicate proactively with Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Developers regarding open issues and testing status.
Requirements

9+ years in Experience in Agile Functional tester, POS Testing(Nice to Have), Test Automation (Nice to Have)
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with API testing required.
Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker is preferred.
Experience with enterprise eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Big Commerce, Commerce Cloud, or equivalent SaaS solutions) required.
Demonstrated experience implementing automated testing solutions at an enterprise scale.
Excellent critical analysis skills.
Clear, proactive communication skills—both written and verbal.
Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong foundation in various levels of testing: web services/API testing using Postman, functional testing for desktop and mobile, regression testing, and performance testing.
Familiarity with common testing tools such as JMeter, Jasmine/Mocha, Locust, Cucumber, Gherkin syntax, Cypress, and Browserstack.
Experience working with GitHub and Jira.
Proficient SQL skills.
Basic understanding of cloud services.
Experienced in Agile methodology.
Hands-on experience with test automation.
